Your trades are yours

North Claw is built so we can't see your trading data. Not because we promise not to look, but because it's encrypted with a key only you hold.

End-to-end encrypted sync

When you turn on sync, your journal, paper portfolio, favourites, drawings, alerts, themes and settings are encrypted on your device (AES-256-GCM) before they're uploaded. Our servers only ever store scrambled data.

Only you hold the key

Your data unlocks with your passkey (Face ID, Touch ID or Windows Hello) or your recovery code. We never see either. That also means we can't reset them: keep your recovery code safe.

We don't sell or share your data

Not to advertisers, data brokers, banks or anyone else. We couldn't if we wanted to: we can't read it. If we were ever compelled to hand data over, all we would have is encrypted data and your email.

What we can see

Your sign-in email, when you sign in and sync, and how much encrypted data your account holds. That's all.

What we never collect

Seed phrases, private keys or exchange API keys (the app never asks for them). No analytics, tracking pixels or ads. Accounts are optional: without one, everything stays in your browser.

Your data, your call

Export everything as a file whenever you like, and delete your account, with all synced data, in one step from your Account page.

Market data comes straight from Coinbase's public feeds; wallet balances from public blockchain endpoints, which see the addresses you look up.
